Rod has lived and worked in the USA where he completed his MBA. He is a keen art collector in his own right with a particular passion for Russell Drysdale, John Brack, Brett Whiteley and International Impressionist and modern paintings. LITSA VELDEKIS Litsa has a Masters of Art (Curatorship & Modern Art) from The University of Sydney together with a Bachelor of Arts (Art History & Theory and Performance Studies). She has worked for The National Gallery of Australia Foundation, Coordinated the inaugural Paddington Art Prize and managed commercial art businesses specialising in Australian Modern and Contemporary Art. Litsa joined Deutscher~Menzies in 2005, went on to manage the Sydney operation as Head of Art and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in January 2009. She brings sound business acumen, a passion for the arts and strong art market knowledge to the role of CEO. Art SpecialistsMelbourneTIM ABDALLAH Tim Abdallah is a fine art specialist with over 20 years experience working in auction houses, public museums and commercial galleries in Australia, England, Germany and Italy. He is a graduate of Monash University and has studied Fine Art at the University of Melbourne and privately in London. He is a CAE lecturer and has published numerous articles on art and artists. His interests range from Old Masters to Australian and International Contemporary Art. JOHN KEATS John has a Bachelor of Arts (Art History and Curatorship) from the Australian National University and completed a Graduate Diploma in Arts in 1998. He has worked closely with the National Gallery of Australia in the Australian Art, Education and Public Programs departments. John has been with Deutscher~Menzies since 1999, in the role of Registrar and has extensive cataloguing and conservation expertise. He brings to the role of Senior Executive sound market knowledge and professionalism. SydneyCAROLINE JONES Caroline has a Master of Art Administration from the College of Fine Art, UNSW, together with a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Art History and Anthropology) and has studied overseas. She has worked with various arts organisations including the Museum of Contemporary Art and Sculpture by the Sea and written for art publications. Caroline has been in the auction industry since 2002. TRACY LE CORNU Tracy studied at Winchester School of Art, England, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Art History and Theory). She began her career in the London auction industry, later taking the post of Art Researcher for a Post Impressionist and Modern Art gallery, and moving on to manage commercial galleries in London and Sydney. Tracy has written for various art publications and brings over 10 years commercial art industry experience to the role of Art Specialist.
